Re-experiencing aspects of a past life can be an enlightening discovery. It can also be heartbreakingly sad. Either way, it often brings up something you need to heal or resolve. But what if, having vividly recalled a past life, you find yourself absorbed in a gripping novel, only to realise that the person you are reading about, is you?
Spirits in the Paint Pot
A blog by spiritual journeyer and artist, Brige Steedman
My name is Brige Steedman and I'm a spiritual artist and journeyer. My life was turned upside down in early 2014 when I drew the Spirit guide I had been hearing since childhood. Instant soul recognition and subsequent intensive journeying brought back memories of past life connections, soul relationships and life path choices made long before this lifetime. This blog is a record of some of the things I've learned and experienced along this bumpy ride of self-discovery and healing. I hope these words - especially those from Spirit - may inspire, comfort and cheer you on your own journey through this 'brief moment in an ocean of eternity'.
My guides say that you don’t get to leave the earth plane without your sense of humour intact, and delight in telling me how many lifetimes I have to go before I fulfill the most basic requirements for entry. But then they go and shoot themselves in the foot by saying, “In Spirit, everyone laughs at each other’s jokes.”
If you suffer from low self-esteem, or are self conscious of any aspect of your physical body or looks, this this message is from Spirit to you.
It’s just as well I’m married to a good-humoured sort of chap and that we’re all in the same close soul group. Because the moment I finished my Spirit guide’s portrait, there I was gazing into another man’s eyes, tears streaming down my face, filled with such deep love, a relief I cannot describe, and an almost pathological fear of losing him.
